One of my first mixed media photography projects. It's pre-image transfer, unrefined and quite immature, but still one of my favorite pieces. I already knew back then that I wanted to combine traditional photography with experimental techniques and mixed media, to present my photos in an interesting way.

The above photo was taken during a week-long solo visit to NYC. It was a freezing cold day and I was about to give in and go indoors, when I saw this happy family crossing the street, heading somewhere, possibly a party, as they were carrying gifts. Thus it became a warm memory of a cold day, as I still remember it quite fondly.

Be clear, be confident and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself. It always does.
